Modular Royal System wall-unit by Poul Cadovius for Cado, 1960s / Modulair Royal System wandmeubel ontworpen door Poul Cadovius voor het Deens Cado, 1960s. De losse elementen van het wandsysteem zijn uitgevoerd in palissander fineer en wit gelakte planken en deuren. De staanders zijn van zwart gelakt hout.

Het systeem bestaat uit 5 muurlatten in diverse lengtes, 4 witte planken en 4 kastelementen waarvan 1 secretaire / bureau, 1 kastje met schuifdeurtjes, 1 kastje met een klep en een ladeblok met twee lades. De wandkast is niet gemerkt, maar heeft alle elementen van een Cadovius.

Conditie: redelijk tot goede vintage conditie. Het witte gelakte houtwerk is licht vergeeld (gebroken wit). Hier en daar enkele beschadigingen (aan de planken) waarvan de meest in het oog springende op foto staan. Een mooie kast met enkele gebruikssporen.

Modular Royal System wall unit designed by Poul Cadovius for the Danish Cado, 1960s. The individual elements of the wall system are made of rosewood veneer and white lacquered shelves and doors. The uprights are made of black lacquered wood. The wall system consists of 5 wall slats in various lengths, 4 white shelves and 4 cabinet elements, including 1 secretary/desk, 1 cabinet with sliding doors, 1 cabinet with a flap and a drawer unit with two drawers. The wall cabinet is not marked, but has all the elements of a Cadovius. Fair to good vintage condition. The white lacquered woodwork is slightly yellowed (off-white). Some damage here and there (on the planks), the most noticeable of which are shown in the photo. A beautiful cabinet with some signs of wear.
