GLAS & MESSING salontafel door Peter Ghyczy, 1970s
Minimalist coffee table with a thick glass top and cast brass legs, designed by Peter Ghyczy, 1970. The legs slide over the corners of the glass top and are clamped in place using plastic screws. Minimal use of materials with an appearance that combines the Regency style with Brutalist influences (solid brass legs).
Peter Ghyczy (1940-2022) was a German designer, born in Hungary and living in the Netherlands. He is known, among other things, for “das Gartenei” from 1968.
Condition: good to very good condition. Minimal signs of use on the glass top. The legs can be polished to your liking.

Minimalistische salontafel met een dik glazen blad en gegoten messing poten, ontworpen door Peter Ghyczy, 1970. De poten worden over de hoeken van het glazen blad geschoven en doormiddel van kunststof schroefjes vastgeklemd. Minimalistisch gebruik van materiaal met een uitstraling die de Regency style combineert met brutalistische invloeden (massieve messing poten). Peter Ghyczy (1940-2022) was een Duitse ontwerper, geboren in Hongarije en wonend in Nederland. Hij is onder andere bekend van “das Gartenei” uit 1968. Goede tot zeer goede conditie.
