Scandinavian lounge armchair with a modern character, model Ateljee, designed by Yrjö Kukkapuro (1933-2025) and produced by Haimi, Finland 1960s. The armchair has a solid black painted wooden frame with clear lines and angular shapes. A nice contrast is formed by the loose leather cushions and leather armrests that are folded around the wooden frame. The heavy armchair stands on four slender black metal legs. Armchair is marked with sticker. Beautiful addition to your classic modern or contemporary interior.
Condition: reasonable to good vintage condition. The leather is in good condition. The frame has some traces of use in the form of scratches and stripes. The seat is in moderate condition. A number of original straps are missing. The seating comfort is reasonable to good because an elastic strap has been applied (temporarily).

Scandinavische lounge fauteuil met een modern karakter, model Ateljee, ontworpen door Yrjö Kukkapuro (1933-2025) en geproduceerd door Haimi, Finland 1960s. De fauteuil heeft een solide zwart gespoten houten frame met heldere lijnen en hoekige vormen. Een mooi contrast vormen de losse leren kussens en leren armleuningen die om het houten frame zijn gevouwen. De zware fauteuil staat op vier slanke zwart metalen poten. Fauteuil is gemerkt met sticker. Mooie aanwinst voor uw klassiek moderne of eigentijdse interieur. Redelijk tot goede vintage conditie. Het leer is in mooie conditie. Het frame heeft enkele gebruikssporen in de vorm van krassen en strepen. De zitting is in matige staat. Er ontbreken een aantal originele banden. Het zitcomfort is redelijk tot goed doordat een elastische band (provisorisch) is aangebracht.
