GERESERVEERD (Rotterdam) /
Set of 4 vintage birch dining table chairs SB02 designed by Cees Braakman in 1952 for Pastoe, the Netherlands. The chairs have a beautiful curved birch plywood construction with an upholstered seat and backrest. The characteristic chairs are inspired by the work of Charles & Ray Eames, which Cees Braakman came into contact with during his study trip to the US. The set comes from the first owner.
Condition: fair to good condition. The woodwork has minor signs of wear. The frame is sturdy, but on two chairs there is slight play at the mounting points of the backrest. The upholstery is fair to good, with some light soiling on the edges of some backrests. The current upholstery is not original.
Dimensions: width 50 cm, depth 54,5 cm, height 82 cm, seating height 47 cm.

Set van 4 vintage berken eettafel stoelen sb02 ontworpen door Cees Braakman in 1952 voor Pastoe, Nederland. De stoelen hebben een mooie gebogen berken multiplex constructie met een gestoffeerde zitting en rugleuning. De karakteristieke stoelen zijn geinspireerd op het werk van Charles & Ray Eames waar Cees Braakman tijdens zijn studiereis naar de VS mee in aanraking kwam. De set is afkomstig van eerste eigenaar.
