Set van 4 vintage Joseph Hoffmann nr 811 PRAAG stoelen door FMG, 1950s, Polen
Nice set of four dining chairs, model 811 Prague, produced by FMG in Poland, 1950s. The chairs are constructed from a curved beech wood frame (bentwood) and a seat and backrest made of cane (webbing). Originally, the chairs were designed by Joseph Hoffmann and produced by Thonet in 1925. This set is a reissue by FMG and Ligna. Three chairs are marked with an FMG sticker; 1 chair has a Ligna Czechoslovakia brand mark.

FMG, Fabryka Mebli Giętych (FMG), was a factory in Radomsko, Poland. They acquired a Thonet factory and continued the production of iconic bistro chairs during the period 1910-1950. “Ligna” is a former Thonet factory in Prague, Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic), nationalized after WWII.
Condition: fair to good vintage condition. Signs of use consistent with age. The chairs have some wood repairs on the curved armrests and backrests. Webbing is in good condition.

Mooie set van vier eettafelstoelen, model 811 Praag, geproduceerd door FMG in Polen, 1950s. De stoelen hebben een gebogen beukenhouten frame en een zitting en rugleuning van riet (webbing). Origineel zijn de stoelen ontworpen door Jospeph Hoffmann en in 1925 geproduceerd door Thonet. Deze set is een heruitgave door FMG en Ligna. Drie stoelen zijn gemerkt met FMG sticker, 1 stoel heeft een brandmerk van Ligna Tsjecho-Slowakije. Redelijke tot goede vintage conditie. Gebruikssporen overenkomstig de leeftijd. De stoelen hebben enkele houtreparaties aan de gebogen arm- en rugleuningen. Webbing is in goede conditie. Breed 55 cm, diep 51-53 cm, hoogte 81-83 cm zithoogte 46 cm, hoogte armleuningen 70 cm.
