Coquillage design chair by Pierre Guariche for Meurop, Belgium, 1960s / design stoel, model Coquillage, ontworpen door de Fransman Pierre Guariche en geproduceerd door het Belgische Meurop, 1960s. Oranje kunststof kuip met een zwart gemoffeld rond stalen frame.
Conditie: goede vintage conditie. Lichte gebruikssporen op de kunststof kuip. Licht corrosie op het stalen fame (zie foto’s).
Afmetingen: breed 51,5 cm, diep 47 cm, hoog 75 cm, zithoogte 45 cm

Design chair, model Coquillage, designed by the Frenchman Pierre Guariche and produced by the Belgian Meurop, 1960s. Orange plastic shell (propylene) with a black enamelled round steel frame. Good vintage condition. Light signs of use on the plastic shell. Slight corrosion on the steel fame (see photos).
Original vintage SZ01 armchairs (rattan) designed by Martin Visser and produced by ’t Spectrum, Netherlands 1980s.
Martin Visser (1922-2009) is one of the most famous Dutch furniture designers. From 1954 he became head designer at Spectrum (1941 Bergeyk). Visser makes sleek designs with a functional approach. His designs have long been defining for the Spectrum collection. In December 1998 Martin Visser’s career was rewarded with the oeuvre prize for design.
