Vintage rosewood diningset SM08 by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, 1950s / Luxe vintage 4-6 persoons eettafel met 4 stoelen, type SM08 ontworpen door Cees Braakman en geproduceerd door Pastoe, 1950s. De tafel en stoelen hebben een slank stalen frame (vernikkeld). Het blad van de uitschuifbare tafel (135-188 cm) heeft een afwerking met palissander fineer. De stoelen hebben een rugleuning van gebogen palissander fineer en zijn verder afgewerkt met een donker blauw leren bekleding. Mooie set van eerste eigenaar.
Conditie: zeer goede vintage conditie. Zeer lichte gebruikssporen overeenkomstig de leeftijd.
Afmetingen tafel: breed 135 cm (1880 cm verlengd), diep 90 cm, hoogte 71,5 cm.
Afmetingen stoelen: breed 48,5 cm, diep 54 cm, hoogte 78,5 cm, zithoogte 43,5 cm

Luxurious vintage 4-6 person dining table with 4 chairs, type SM08 designed by Cees Braakman and produced by Pastoe, 1950s. The table and chairs have a slim steel frame (nickel-plated). The top of the extendable table (135-188 cm) has a rosewood veneer finish. The chairs have a bent rosewood veneer back and are furthermore finished with a dark blue leather upholstery. Nice set from first owner. Very good vintage condition. Very light signs of use commensurate with its age.

Special Dutch lounge armchair designed by John de Haard and produced by the Gebroeders Jonkers, 1960s. The unique armchair has a pine wooden frame with a canvas seat hanging in it. The “sling” armrests are made of the same brown canvas. The seat is held in place by metal pins in the woodwork and turning buttons on the underside. The “safari chair” was an important inspiration for the design of the lounge armchair. The armchair is included in the extensive chair collection of the TU Delft.

De unieke fauteuil heeft een grenen houten frame met daarin hangend een canvas zitting. De “sling” armleuningen zijn van hetzelfde bruine canvas. De zitting wordt op zijn plaats gehouden door metalen pinnen in het houtwerk en draaiknopen aan de onderzijde. Bij het ontwerp van de lounge fauteuil is de “safari chair” een belangrijke inspiratie geweest. De fauteuil is opgenomen in de uitgebreide stoelen collectie van de TU Delft
