Vintage wardrobe KB04, Birch/Combex series, by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, 1960s /
Mid-century design Kledingkast KB04 uit de beroemde Berken- Combexseries ontworpen door Cees Braakman voor UMS Pastoe, 1950. Grote berkenfineer cabinet met 4 vouwdeuren, hangrail, aflegplanken, sokkenlade, spiegel en stropdasbakje. Modern en strak uiterlijk met minimale aansluitingen en karakteristieke sierlijke luspoten. De kast is van eerste eigenaar en voor transport volledig demontabel.
Conditie: Goede tot zeer goede vintage conditie. Lichte gebruikssporen rondom het sleutelgat. Op de tweede linker deur een donkere verkleuring. Het linker zijpaneel heeft wat donkere kleurverschillen (zie ook foto’s).

Mid-century design Wardrobe KB04 from the famous Birch Combex series designed by Cees Braakman for UMS Pastoe, 1950. Large birch veneer cabinet with 4 folding doors, hanging rail, shelves, sock drawer, mirror and tie tray. Modern and sleek appearance with minimal connections and characteristic elegant loop legs. The cabinet belongs to the first owner and can be completely disassembled for transport. Good to very good vintage condition. Light signs of wear around the keyhole. A dark discoloration on the second left door. The left side panel has some dark color differences (see also the photos).
Vintage leather easy chair, model 103, designed by Illum Wikkelsø (1919-1999) and produced by A/S Mikael Laursen, Denmark 1960s.
Illum Wikkelsø (1919-1999) trained as a carpenter and later studied at the School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen. He first worked for the Danish cabinetmaker Jacob Kjær and the architects Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard until 1954, when he opened his studio on the outskirts of Aarhus. Here he designed exceptionally simple and elegant seating furniture with great functionality, which are now considered classics of Danish furniture design. The style of his work ranges from the classicism of Kaare Klint to the soft organic craftsmanship of Arne Jacobsen.
