Dining room set SE15 by Pierre Mazairac & Karel Boonzaaijer for Pastoe, 1976 Netherlands / eetkamer set ontworpen door Pierre Mazairac & Karel Boonzaaijer voor Pastoe, 1976. Modernistische stoelen, model SE15, met bijbehorende eettafel gemaakt van massief essenhout. De stoelen en de tafel hebben mooie zichtbare houtverbindingen. De stoelen hebben een mooi contrast in vormgeving, massief versus open, afhankelijk van welke kant je de stoelen bekijkt.
Conditie: goede vintage conditie. De stoelen hebben gebruikssporen zoals kleine krasjes en deukjes overeenkomstig de leeftijd. Bij 1 stoel zit een zichtbaar dun scheurtje aan de bovenzijde/zijkant van de zitting, dit heeft geen effect op de stabiliteit. De tafel heeft tint verschillen maar zit goed in de blanke lak. Bekijk voor een goede indruk ook de foto’s. *Niet alle gebruikssporen worden tekstueel genoemd. Heeft u aanvullende vragen met betrekking tot de staat van het meubel, dan horen wij dat graag.*

Dining room set designed by Pierre Mazairac & Karel Boonzaadjer for Pastoe, 1976. Modernist chairs, model SE15, with matching dining table made of solid ash wood. The chairs and table have beautiful visible wood joints. The chairs have a nice contrast in design, solid versus open, depending on which side you look at the chairs. Good vintage condition. The chairs have signs of wear such as small scratches and dents corresponding to the age. 1 chair has a visible thin tear on the top / side of the seat, this has no effect on the stability. The table has color differences but is well in the clear coat. Please also view the photos for a good impression. *Not all traces of use are mentioned textually. The “safari chair” was an important inspiration for the design of the lounge armchair. The armchair is included in the extensive chair collection of the TU Delft.

De unieke fauteuil heeft een grenen houten frame met daarin hangend een canvas zitting. De “sling” armleuningen zijn van hetzelfde bruine canvas. De zitting wordt op zijn plaats gehouden door metalen pinnen in het houtwerk en draaiknopen aan de onderzijde. Bij het ontwerp van de lounge fauteuil is de “safari chair” een belangrijke inspiratie geweest. De fauteuil is opgenomen in de uitgebreide stoelen collectie van de TU Delft
