Dining room set SE15 by Pierre Mazairac & Karel Boonzaaijer for Pastoe, 1976 Netherlands / eetkamer set ontworpen door Pierre Mazairac & Karel Boonzaaijer voor Pastoe, 1976. Modernistische stoelen, model SE15, met bijbehorende eettafel gemaakt van massief essenhout. De stoelen en de tafel hebben mooie zichtbare houtverbindingen. De stoelen hebben een mooi contrast in vormgeving, massief versus open, afhankelijk van welke kant je de stoelen bekijkt.
Conditie: goede vintage conditie. De stoelen hebben gebruikssporen zoals kleine krasjes en deukjes overeenkomstig de leeftijd. Bij 1 stoel zit een zichtbaar dun scheurtje aan de bovenzijde/zijkant van de zitting, dit heeft geen effect op de stabiliteit. De tafel heeft tint verschillen maar zit goed in de blanke lak. Bekijk voor een goede indruk ook de foto’s. *Niet alle gebruikssporen worden tekstueel genoemd. Heeft u aanvullende vragen met betrekking tot de staat van het meubel, dan horen wij dat graag.*

Dining room set designed by Pierre Mazairac & Karel Boonzaadjer for Pastoe, 1976. Modernist chairs, model SE15, with matching dining table made of solid ash wood. The chairs and table have beautiful visible wood joints. The chairs have a nice contrast in design, solid versus open, depending on which side you look at the chairs. Good vintage condition. The chairs have signs of wear such as small scratches and dents corresponding to the age. 1 chair has a visible thin tear on the top / side of the seat, this has no effect on the stability. The table has color differences but is well in the clear coat. Please also view the photos for a good impression. *Not all traces of use are mentioned textually. 🔴 Dutch ART DECO beech chair by the firm Jac Levee NV, 1930s
Beautiful Art Deco armchair designed and manufactured by the Amsterdam firm Jac Levee NV around 1935. This beechwood armchair in the Amsterdam School style is a beautiful combination of traditional craftsmanship and modernist design principles. The black-painted round accents give the chair a distinctive character. The wicker seat provides comfortable seating. Original Art Deco / Amsterdam School design.

🟡 JAPANESE ANTIQUES
A beautiful Japanese wooden mobile Tansu (箪笥) cabinet from the Meiji period, circa 1900, with a beautiful patina. The cabinet was primarily used for storing clothing, especially kimonos. This functional approach is clearly reflected in the metal corner protectors and the lockable drawers and sliding doors. This cabinet has several wide drawers, two sliding doors, and two “hidden” drawers behind a door. A nice detail is the cast iron supports on the sides of the cabinet. More interesting information about this characteristic piece of furniture with a rich history can be found on Wikipedia/Tansu, among other places. Beautiful cabinet in a modern interior or brutalist architecture.
