Set of 6 vintage dining chairs with reed seat by Pastoe, 1970s / Vintage eettafel stoelen geproduceerd door Pastoe in de jaren 1970. Zwart Essen of Wenge houten frame met biezen (riet) zitting en rugleuning. Gemerkt met Pastoe sticker.
Conditie: redelijk tot goede vintage conditie. Stoelen zijn stevig/stabiel, de biezen zittingen hebben gebruikssporen, houtwerk is netjes.
Afmetingen: breed 47 cm, diep 52 cm, hoog 76 cm, zithoogte 44 cm

Vintage dining table chairs produced by Pastoe in the 1970s. Black Ash or Wenge wood frame with piped (reed) seat and back. Marked with Pastoe sticker. Fair to good vintage condition. Chairs are sturdy / stable, the rush seats have signs of wear, woodwork is neat.

The “sling” armrests are made of the same brown canvas. The seat is held in place by metal pins in the woodwork and turning buttons on the underside. The “safari chair” was an important inspiration for the design of the lounge armchair. The armchair is included in the extensive chair collection of the TU Delft.
