Vintage Scandinavian dining table, 1970s / Scandinavische vintage eettafel van berkenhout. De blankhouten tafel is aan twee zijden uitschuifbaar zodat deze plaatst biedt aan 6-8 personen. Het blad is van berkenfineer. Ontwerper en fabrikant bij ons onbekend. Mooie tafel samen met de berkenhouten Akerblom stoelen.
Conditie: goede vintage conditie. Lichte gebruikssporen overeenkomstig de leeftijd op het blad. De uitschuifbare delen hebben beide twee plekjes van het schuiven.

Scandinavian vintage dining table made of birch wood. The white wooden table is extendable on two sides so that it can accommodate 6-8 people. The top is made of birch veneer. Designer and manufacturer unknown to us. Nice table together with the birch wood Akerblom chairs. Good vintage condition. Light traces of use on the top according to its age. The extendable parts both have two places of sliding.

Martin Visser (1922-2009) is one of the most famous Dutch furniture designers. From 1954 he became head designer at Spectrum (1941 Bergeyk). Visser makes sleek designs with a functional approach. His designs have long been defining for the Spectrum collection. In December 1998 Martin Visser’s career was rewarded with the oeuvre prize for design.
