Set of 4 mid-century vintage teak dining chairs by Søborg Møbelfabrik, Denmark 1960s / set van 4 Deense teakhouten eettafelstoelen geproduceerd door Søborg Møbelfabrik, 1960s. De in Denemarken gemaakte stoelen hebben een teakhouten frame met prachtig vormgegeven rugleuning en grijs/blauw gemeleerde stoffen (Ploegstof) bekleding (niet origineel). De stoelen zijn gemerkt en van eerste eigenaar. Ontwerper is nog niet bij ons bekend, maar deze fabriek produceerde veel voor onder andere P. Hvidt en Borge Mogensen.
Conditie: zeer goede vintage conditie. Gebruikssporen overeenkomstig de leeftijd.
Afmetingen: breed 58 cm, diep 48 cm, hoog 78,5 cm, zithoogte 46 cm

Set of 4 Danish teak dining table chairs produced by Søborg Møbelfabrik, 1960s. The chairs made in Denmark have a teak frame with beautifully designed backrest and gray / blue melange fabric (Ploegstof) upholstery (not original). The chairs are marked and from the first owner. Designer is not yet known to us, but this factory produced a lot for, among others, P. Hvidt and Borge Mogensen. Very good vintage condition. Signs of wear according to age.

Iconic Scandinavian dining chairs, model Pirkka, designed by Finnish interior architect Ilmari Tapiovaara and manufactured by Laukaan Puu in the 1950s. The chairs (5 pieces) are made of high-quality pinewood and feature a beautiful brown finish and black lacquered legs. Beautiful craftsmanship with elegantly shaped components and solid mortise and tenon joints. Early edition and original marked mid-century set. A beautiful set together with the restored dining table.

Timeless sideboard finished with Rio rosewood veneer, designed by visionary Leo Bub in the 1960s. German craftsmanship manufactured by BUB Wertmobel Germany. This mid-century sideboard has an enchanting appearance due to the unique finish of the door panels. The doors are crafted from strips of rosewood veneer woven in a basket weave pattern. The woven panels add a beautiful organic texture and a timeless, casual elegance to the piece. The interior finish of the sideboard, with beech veneer and green felt, creates a beautiful contrast with the dark exterior. A rare and beautiful sideboard with an eye for detail and carefully selected materials. The sideboard is marked with the original sales sticker.
Condition: good to very good vintage condition. The sideboard has a beautiful appearance with a small repair to the veneer on the edge of the upper right corner. Minor discoloration and signs of wear on the top.

The design of the chairs has many similarities with the chairs that Martin Visser designed for ’t Spectrum in the 60s.
