Set of 6 Art Deco / Haagse School oak dining chairs, Netherlands 1930s / set van 6 Haagse School eettafelstoelen, Nederlands 1930. De massief eiken stoelen hebben een sobere moderne stijl met een zwart gebeitste multiplex zitting. De multiplex zitting is gemerkt met een originele sticker van Venesta (Estonia Veneer) / Sumnot. Of dit ook de fabrikant is van de gehele stoel of alleen de leverancier van het multiplex is ons niet bekend. De Oosterbeekse meubelfabriek L.O.V. zou gezien de stijl ook de maker kunnen zijn.
Conditie: goede vintage conditie. Gebruikssporen overeenkomstig de leeftijd.
Afmetingen: breed 45 cm, diep 46,5 cm, hoog 85 cm, zithoogte 46-47 cm.

set of 6 Haagse School dining table chairs, Dutch 1930. The solid oak chairs have a sober modern style with a black-stained plywood seat. The plywood seat is marked with an original Venesta (Estonia Veneer) / Sumnot sticker. We do not know whether this is also the manufacturer of the entire chair or just the supplier of the plywood. The Oosterbeek furniture factory L.O.V. could also be the maker given the style. Good vintage condition. Signs of use corresponding to its age.

🟡 Balance by wires
Rare postmodern 80s table with a special construction designed by the Dutch architect Koen van Velsen (1952). The table has a solid wooden top with white Formica finish and a tapered table edge. The top is supported by a minimalist chromed steel frame on a weighted metal base and a continuous tension cable that keeps the table in balance. The tension cable is tensioned/fixed to three threaded rods with nuts. At the top, this connection is visible through three metal rosettes. Special conceptual version of a dining table.
Koen van Velsen (1952) is an architect from Hilversum, Netherlands known for his design work on the Discothèque Slinger, rehabilitation center Groot Klimmendaal and the library in Zeewolde. His work employs a contextual design approach, free of a personal esthetic (Wikipedia)

FRISTHO / mid-century vintage seagrass & rosewood cabinet / Inger Klingenberg / Denmark 1960s
Special wall cabinet designed by the Danish artist Inger Klingenberg and probably produced by Fristho Franeker, 1960s. The cabinet has a warm appearance due to the use of seagrass panels for the doors. The use of wood is also very diverse, an exterior of rosewood and teak and an interior of beech wood. Beautiful large handles, which taper at the back. The rare cabinet with a high cuddliness factor stands on four slender legs with metal accents.
Danish designer Inger Klingenberg (1932-1997) was educated at the school of interior design in Copenhagen. She established her own design firm in 1958 in Copenhagen and designed furniture, fabrics and jewelry. Her husband was the American designer Ross Littel, an employee of Charles Eames.

Beautiful set of 4 dining chairs, designed by Hans J. Wegner and produced by Fritz Hansen, Denmark 1950s
The triangular construction of the special chairs is a combination of beech and teak. The frame is made of birch and the plywood seat is made of teak. The three legs and the shape of the seat are in the shape of a heart (heart chair). The iconic chairs have a beautiful finishing detail of the legs in the seat. The chairs are stackable. The chairs are from the first owner and all four are marked with a stamp.
Condition: very good vintage condition. Minimal traces of use considering the age of the chairs.
