Vintage leather swivelchair by Madsen & Schubel for Bovenkamp, 1970s Denmark / bruin leren jaren 70 draaifauteuil ontworpen door Madsen & Schubel en geproduceerd door Bovenkamp, Denemarken. De gecapitonneerde losse bruin leren patchwork kussens liggen in een schelp van geschuurd leer/suède. De draaifauteuil staat op een mooie gedetailleerde stervoet die is afgewerkt met teakhout. De rugleuning is verstelbaar in drie standen. Zeer comfortabel. De lounge fauteuil heeft gelijkenissen met de Artifort schelpfauteuil van Geoffrey Harcourt, maar is wat zeldzamer.
Conditie: zeer goede vintage conditie. Leer is netjes en soepel. Het suède heeft een mooie patina. Constructief helemaal in orde. Beschadiging bij een van de kunststof vloerglijders.

Brown leather 1970s swivel armchair designed by Madsen & Schübel and produced by Bovenkamp, Denmark. The padded loose brown leather patchwork cushions are set in a shell of sanded leather/suede. The swivel armchair stands on a beautifully detailed star base that is finished with teak. The backrest is adjustable in three positions. Very comfortable. The lounge armchair has similarities with the Artifort shell armchair by Geoffrey Harcourt, but is somewhat rarer. Very good vintage condition. Leather is neat and supple. The suede has a beautiful patina. Constructively all right. Damage to one of the plastic floor glides.

The tabletop is inlaid with handmade ceramic tiles in a colorful, geometric pattern, resulting in a beautiful, organic aesthetic. Beautiful Danish craftsmanship, marked with a sticker and from first owner.
Tue Poulsen (1939–2026) was a prominent Danish ceramicist and designer, widely recognized for his brutalist stoneware and mid-century modern furniture. Over a career spanning more than 60 years, he blended organic textures with architectural forms, becoming a staple of Danish design history.
