Dining chairs by Giancarlo Piretti for Castelli, Italy 1980s / design stoelen, type DSC Axis 106, ontworpen in de jaren 60 door Giancarlo Piretti voor Castelli, Italie. De 7 stoelen hebben een blauw-grijze kunststof bekleding, aluminium frame, stalen poten met grijze kunststof hulzen en zwarte kunststof voetjes.
Conditie: goede vintage conditie. Het frame is netjes en heeft minimale beschadigingen (door het stapelen). Lichte gebruikssporen op de kunststof zittingen en rugleuningen. 1 kunststof poothuls heeft een kleine beschadiging.
Afmetingen: breed 53 cm, diep 56 cm, hoogte 75 cm, zithoogte 42-44 cm

The 7 chairs have a blue-grey plastic upholstery, aluminum frame, steel legs with gray plastic sleeves and black plastic feet. Good vintage condition. The frame is neat and has minimal damage (due to stacking). Light signs of wear on the plastic seats and backrests. 1 plastic leg sleeve has minor damage.

Special Dutch lounge armchair designed by John de Haard and produced by the Gebroeders Jonkers, 1960s. The unique armchair has a pine wooden frame with a canvas seat hanging in it. The “sling” armrests are made of the same brown canvas. The seat is held in place by metal pins in the woodwork and turning buttons on the underside. The “safari chair” was an important inspiration for the design of the lounge armchair. The armchair is included in the extensive chair collection of the TU Delft.

De unieke fauteuil heeft een grenen houten frame met daarin hangend een canvas zitting. De “sling” armleuningen zijn van hetzelfde bruine canvas. De zitting wordt op zijn plaats gehouden door metalen pinnen in het houtwerk en draaiknopen aan de onderzijde. Bij het ontwerp van de lounge fauteuil is de “safari chair” een belangrijke inspiratie geweest. De fauteuil is opgenomen in de uitgebreide stoelen collectie van de TU Delft
