Set of 4 Cesca tubular frame cantilever dining chairs based on the design of Marcel Breuer, produced in Italy 1990s / set van 4 Cesca eettafelstoelen stoelen gebaseerd op het ontwerp van de S32 van Marcel Breuer / Thonet. De designklassiekers hebben een chromen buisframe en een zitting en rugleuning van gevlochten riet (webbing) met zwart beuken randen. Deze uitvoering is gemaakt in Italy met een gestanste productiedatum aan de onderzijde van de houten zitting. 2 sets van 4 stuks beschikbaar
Conditie: goede vintage conditie. De webbing van de zittingen zijn wat minder strak. Lichte gebruikssporen op het houtwerk. Stoelen worden geleverd met vloerglijders. De zittingen zijn na het maken van de foto’s omgedraaid…..voorkant zat achter en viseversa
Afmetingen: breed 46 cm, diep 50 cm, hoog 82 cm, zithoogte 45 cm.

The design classics have a chrome tubular frame and a seat and back made of woven cane (webbing) with black beech edges. This version is made in Italy with a production date stamped on the underside of the wooden seat. 2 sets of 4 pieces available. Good vintage condition. The webbing of the seats is a bit less tight. Light signs of use on the woodwork. Seats come with floor glides. the seats were reversed after taking the photos ….. front was back and viseversa

Vintage leather easy chair, model 103, designed by Illum Wikkelsø (1919-1999) and produced by A/S Mikael Laursen, Denmark 1960s.
Illum Wikkelsø (1919-1999) trained as a carpenter and later studied at the School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen. He first worked for the Danish cabinetmaker Jacob Kjær and the architects Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard until 1954, when he opened his studio on the outskirts of Aarhus. Here he designed exceptionally simple and elegant seating furniture with great functionality, which are now considered classics of Danish furniture design. The style of his work ranges from the classicism of Kaare Klint to the soft organic craftsmanship of Arne Jacobsen.
