Vintage dining table set with plywood chairs and wooden table with slate inlay, 70s / vintage eettafelset met multiplex stoelen en houten tafel voorzien van leisteen inleg, 1970s. De gebeitste stoelen hebben een mooie gebogen rugleuning en bestaan uit dik multiplex en hebben een gestoffeerde zitting. De gebeitste eettafel is in dezelfde stijl vormgegeven met mooie gebogen poten in multiplex. Bijzonderheid van de tafel is de inleg met imitatie leisteen. Producent en ontwerper niet bekend bij ons, waarschijnlijk Nederlands.
Conditie: goede vintage conditie. Lichte gebruikssporen op het houtwerk. Bekleding van de stoelen is zeer netjes. Imitatie leisteen is netjes met lichte gebruikssporen (krasjes).
Afmetingen tafel: breed 130 cm, diep 130 cm, hoogte 72,5 cm
Afmetingen stoelen: breed 49 cm, diep 56 cm, hoogte 77,5 cm, zithoogte 43 cm.

The stained dining table is designed in the same style with beautiful curved legs in plywood. A special feature of the table is the inlay with imitation slate. Manufacturer and designer not known to us, probably Dutch Design. Good vintage condition. Light signs of use on the woodwork. The upholstery of the seats is very neat. Imitation slate is neat with light signs of use (scratches).

Special Dutch lounge armchair designed by John de Haard and produced by the Gebroeders Jonkers Noordwolde, 1960s. The unique armchair has a pine wooden frame with a canvas seat hanging in it. The “sling” armrests are made of the same brown canvas. The seat is held in place by metal pins in the woodwork and turning buttons on the underside. The “safari chair” was an important inspiration for the design of the lounge armchair. The armchair is included in the extensive chair collection of the TU Delft.
