Set of 4 butterfly chairs 3107 by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen, 1976 Denmark / Set van 4 vlinderstoelen 3107 ontworpen door Arne Jacobsen en geproduceerd door Fritz Hansen, 1976 Denemarken. Zwarte houten zittingen (origineel) staand op slanke chromen poten met zwarte originele vloerdopjes.
Conditie: goede vintage condite. Lichte beschadigingen aan de randen (zie foto’s). Bij 1 stoel zit een klein haarscheurtje in de zitting. Bij alle stoelen is de rugleuning stevig.
Afmetingen: breed 49 cm, diep 50 cm, hoog 76 cm, zithoogte 43,5 cm.

Set of 4 butterfly chairs 3107 designed by Arne Jacobsen and produced by Fritz Hansen, 1976 Denmark. Black wooden seats (original) standing on slender chrome legs with black original floor caps. Good vintage condition. Light damage to the edges (see photos). One chair has a small hairline crack in the seat. All chairs have a firm backrest.

Special Dutch lounge armchair designed by John de Haard and produced by the Gebroeders Jonkers Noordwolde, 1960s. The unique armchair has a pine wooden frame with a canvas seat hanging in it. The “sling” armrests are made of the same brown canvas. The seat is held in place by metal pins in the woodwork and turning buttons on the underside. The “safari chair” was an important inspiration for the design of the lounge armchair. The armchair is included in the extensive chair collection of the TU Delft.
