Teak veneer “Propos” series sideboard produced by Hulmefa, 1960s Netherlands / hoog teakhouten dressoir uit de “Propos” serie geproduceerd door Hulmefa , Nieuwe Pekela Nederland 1960s. Zeldzaam teakhouten vineer dressoir met berkenhouten binnenafwerking. Het dressoir heeft lades, legplanken en een kleine bar met origineel glazen plateau. De Propos serie is sterk geinspireerd op de “Japanse serie” van Cees Braakman Pastoe. De Hulmefa kast is nog minimalistischer ontworpen door uitgefreesde handgrepen afgewerkt met een donkere houtsoort. Datzelfde geldt voor de mooie slanke poten, die ook uitgevoerd zijn in hout.
Buffetkast is gemerkt en van eerste eigenaresse.
Conditie: goed to zeer goed. Kleine (gerepareerde) beschdiging bij een van de uitgefreesde handgrepen. Op de bovenzijde lichte gebruikssporen (enkele kringen) en een aan de linker en rechter zijde twee kleine plekken met een lichte bobbeling in het vineer (zie foto’s). Rand achterzijde heeft enkele beschadigingen.

The sideboard has drawers, shelves and a small bar with original glass shelf. The Propos series is strongly inspired by the “Japanese series” by Cees Braakman Pastoe. The Hulmefa cabinet is designed in an even more minimalistic way with milled handles finished with a dark wood. The same applies to the beautiful slender legs, which are also made of wood. Buffet cabinet is marked and from the first owner. Good to very good condition. Small (repaired) damage to one of the milled handles. Light signs of wear on the top (a few circles) and two small spots on the left and right side with a slight bulge in the vine (see photos). Back edge has some damage.

Probably the only one of its kind. A unique handmade stick cabinet with shelves of varying depths. The round wooden uprights (sticks) support the brown lacquered pine planks. The shelves rest on wooden pegs inserted through the uprights (no other fasteners). A beautiful example of how you can build a cabinet with minimal resources.

Four-door wall cabinet with display case by Ibsico, Italy 1970s. The heavy cabinet has a beautiful finish with beech veneer. Beautiful classic lines of vertical and horizontal wood structure. The four doors, of which the top two are made of glass, hang on beautiful copper or brass hinges. The doors can be perfectly adjusted.
