Vintage extendable oak dining table, model 140 Øresund series, by the Danish designer Borge Mogensen for the Swedish company Karl Andersson & söner, 1960s / ronde eiken verlengbare eettafel, model 140 uit de Øresund serie, ontworpen door de Deen Børge Mogensen en geproduceerd door het Zweedse Karl Andersson en Soner, 1960. Mooie robuuste eiken tafel met opvallend messing detail bij de afneembare poten. De ronde tafel kan verlengd worden met twee inzetstukken tot een lengte van 216 cm. De Scandinavische tafel is van de eerste eigenaar en gemerkt met sticker.
Conditie: goede vintage conditie. Het blad heeft kleurverschil door een jarenlang gebruik van een tafelkleed (zie foto’s).
Mooie set samen met de Børge Mogensen – Frederica eiken eettafelstoelen (zie andere advertentie)

Beautiful robust oak table with striking brass detail at the removable legs. The round table can be extended with two inserts up to a length of 216 cm. The Scandinavian table is from the first owner and marked with a sticker. Good vintage condition. The top has a color difference due to years of use of a tablecloth (see photos). Scandinavian vintage armchair by the Dane Arne Hovmand Olsen and Komfort, 1960s. The scissor armchair has a frame of European oak and red fabric upholstery. The wishbone-shaped frame is beautifully accentuated by the large brass screw. The same detail is found on the backrest. Classic modern and timeless.

Post Modern sideboard, model Amsterdammer, designed in the 70s by Aldo van den Nieuwelaar and produced by Pastoe. The sideboard in burgundy red hard plastic finish has playful rounded corners and two characteristic ribbed plastic sliding doors. The postmodern 80s cabinet has become a real Dutch Design Classic. Cabinet is marked with original Pastoe sticker.
Aldo van den Nieuwelaar (1944-2010) was an architect and industrial designer. A number of designs by Van den Nieuwelaar are (were) part of exhibitions in the Museum of Modern Art and Stedelijk Amsterdam.

Beautiful, wide slatted bench in the style of Martin Visser, Spectrum 1970s. The bench’s design gives it two faces: closed sides and an open front. The black-stained slats have a beautiful finger-jointed joint where the seat transitions into the leg. The leg slats are expertly joined at the bottom. The slatted bench is also ideal as a side table or plant stand.
