Set of 4 Thur op seat schoolchairs “S22” by Elmar Flototto for Pagholz / Galvanitas, 1960s / set van vier “Thur op seat” schoolstoelen, ontwerp Elmar Flototto en geproduceerd door Pagholz (Duitsland) en Galvanitas (Nederland), ontwerpjaat 1967. De stoelen hebben een zwart gepoedercoat frame van gevouwen plaatstaal en een “PAG wood” kuip. De stoelen zijn onderling te koppelen doordat de linker passerpoot kleiner is dan de rechter. Stoelen zijn gemerkt.
Conditie: redelijk tot goede vintage conditie. De poten hebben beschadigingen door het gebruik. Lichte beschadiging aan de houten kuip door het stapelen (zie foto’s).
Afmetingen: breed 54 cm, diep 49 cm, hoog 80 cm, zithoogte 45 cm.

The chairs have a black powder-coated frame of folded sheet steel and a “PAG wood” shell. The chairs can be linked together because the left compass leg is smaller than the right. Seats are marked. Fair to good vintage condition. The legs have damage from use. Slight damage to the wooden tub due to stacking (see photos).

Unique design, vintage Spanish bar stools in brutalist style. The special “Marbella” bar stool was produced by Confonorm in the 70s. The wooden stool consists of three legs that are fixed in the seat and are given strength by the black steel ring. The seat is somewhat reminiscent of a saddle in shape. Comfortable and special decorative brutalist bar stools for a restaurant, bar, hotel or mancave.

Special Dutch lounge armchair designed by John de Haard and produced by the Gebroeders Jonkers Noordwolde, 1960s. The unique armchair has a pine wooden frame with a canvas seat hanging in it. The “sling” armrests are made of the same brown canvas. The seat is held in place by metal pins in the woodwork and turning buttons on the underside. The “safari chair” was an important inspiration for the design of the lounge armchair. The armchair is included in the extensive chair collection of the TU Delft.
