Set of wooden side tables, model Tb16, by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, 1950s Netherlands / set van twee salon- en/of bijzettafels, type Tb16, ontworpen door Cees Braakman voor Pastoe, 1950s Nederland. De tafels hebben een blank berkenhouten gefineerd blad en staan op zwart gelakte poten met ronde voetjes. De grote tafel is gemerkt.
Conditie: goede vintage conditie. Lichte beschadigingen aan de poten. Het blad van beide tafels heeft lichte gebruikssporen.

Grote tafel: breed 74 cm, diep 74 cm, hoogte 49,5 cm
Kleine tafel: breed 32, diep 42 cm, hoogte 38 cm

Set of two coffee and/or side tables, type Tb16, designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, 1950s Netherlands. The tables have a natural birch veneer top and stand on black lacquered legs with round feet. The large table is marked. Good vintage condition. Slight damage to the legs. The top of both tables has minor signs of wear.

🟡 Balance by wires
Rare postmodern 80s table with a special construction designed by the Dutch architect Koen van Velsen (1952). The table has a solid wooden top with white Formica finish and a tapered table edge. The top is supported by a minimalist chromed steel frame on a weighted metal base and a continuous tension cable that keeps the table in balance. The tension cable is tensioned/fixed to three threaded rods with nuts. At the top, this connection is visible through three metal rosettes. Special conceptual version of a dining table.
Koen van Velsen (1952) is an architect from Hilversum, Netherlands known for his design work on the Discothèque Slinger, rehabilitation center Groot Klimmendaal and the library in Zeewolde. His work employs a contextual design approach, free of a personal esthetic (Wikipedia)

FRISTHO / mid-century vintage seagrass & rosewood cabinet / Inger Klingenberg / Denmark 1960s
Special wall cabinet designed by the Danish artist Inger Klingenberg and probably produced by Fristho Franeker, 1960s. The cabinet has a warm appearance due to the use of seagrass panels for the doors. The use of wood is also very diverse, an exterior of rosewood and teak and an interior of beech wood. Beautiful large handles, which taper at the back. The rare cabinet with a high cuddliness factor stands on four slender legs with metal accents.
Danish designer Inger Klingenberg (1932-1997) was educated at the school of interior design in Copenhagen. She established her own design firm in 1958 in Copenhagen and designed furniture, fabrics and jewelry. Her husband was the American designer Ross Littel, an employee of Charles Eames.

Beautiful set of 4 dining chairs, designed by Hans J. Wegner and produced by Fritz Hansen, Denmark 1950s
The triangular construction of the special chairs is a combination of beech and teak. The frame is made of birch and the plywood seat is made of teak. The three legs and the shape of the seat are in the shape of a heart (heart chair). The iconic chairs have a beautiful finishing detail of the legs in the seat. The chairs are stackable. The chairs are from the first owner and all four are marked with a stamp.
Condition: very good vintage condition. Minimal traces of use considering the age of the chairs.
