Teak and formica “made to measure” sideboard/secretary by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, 1960s / Teakhouten dressoir / secretaire uit de serie “meubelen op maat” ontworpen door Cees Braakman voor UMS Pastoe, 1960. Het samengestelde modulaire dressoir met “made to measure” elementen (deuren, wanddelen, verbindingsbalkjes, aluminium pootjes) bestaat uit een onderkast met twee deuren, een secretaire met twee klepkasten (Formica afwerking) en een open boekenplank. De gehele kast is demontabel en bijvoorbeeld ook uit te voeren zonder bovendeel (zie impressie). De binnenzijde is afgewerkt in beukenfineer.
Conditie: redelijk tot goede conditie. Aan de linker zijkant zit een kras op het fineer (zie foto). De linkerbinnenzijde van de klepkast (secretaire) heeft enkele gebruikssporen (gaatjes in het fineer). De rechter klepdeur heeft enkele kleine putjes in het fineer.

Teak sideboard / secretaire from the series “made to measure” designed by Cees Braakman for UMS Pastoe, 1960. The assembled modular sideboard with “made to measure” elements (doors, wall parts, connecting beams, aluminium legs) consists of a base cabinet with two doors, a secretaire with two flap cabinets (Formica finish) and an open bookshelf. The entire cabinet can be disassembled and can therefore also be produced without the top part (see impression). The inside is finished in beech veneer. Fair to good condition. There is a scratch on the veneer on the left side (see photo). The inner left side of the flap box (secretaire) has some signs of wear (closed small screwholes in the veneer). The right flap door has some small dents in the veneer.

Probably the only one of its kind. A unique handmade stick cabinet with shelves of varying depths. The round wooden uprights (sticks) support the brown lacquered pine planks. The shelves rest on wooden pegs inserted through the uprights (no other fasteners). A beautiful example of how you can build a cabinet with minimal resources.

Four-door wall cabinet with display case by Ibsico, Italy 1970s. The heavy cabinet has a beautiful finish with beech veneer. Beautiful classic lines of vertical and horizontal wood structure. The four doors, of which the top two are made of glass, hang on beautiful copper or brass hinges. The doors can be perfectly adjusted.
The display cabinet, together with the cabinet with closed panels, is part of a fraternal twins.
