Cubic leather lounge chair by Radboud van Beekum for Pastoe, 1980s Netherlands / Originele kubusstoel FM62 van Radboud van Beekum (1950-2020) voor Pastoe, 1982. De minimalistische fauteuil met zwart gemoffeld stalen frame en zwart zadelleren zit- en rugleuning is geïnspireerd op “De Stijl” periode uit de jaren 30. Fauteuil is van eerste eigenaar.
Conditie: zeer goed. Lichte gebruikssporen conform de leeftijd.
Afmetingen: breed 61 cm, diep 68 cm, hoogte 68 cm, zithoogte 32-40 cm.

Original cube chair FM62 by Radboud van Beekum (1950-2020) for Pastoe, 1982. The minimalist armchair with black enamelled steel frame and black saddle leather seat and backrest is inspired by the “De Stijl” period from the 1930s. Armchair is the first owner. Very good condition. Light signs of use according to its age.

The “sling” armrests are made of the same brown canvas. The seat is held in place by metal pins in the woodwork and turning buttons on the underside. The “safari chair” was an important inspiration for the design of the lounge armchair. The armchair is included in the extensive chair collection of the TU Delft.

De zitting wordt op zijn plaats gehouden door metalen pinnen in het houtwerk en draaiknopen aan de onderzijde.
