Round extendable dining table made by Pastoe in the 1970s, Netherlands / Mooie ronde eettafel van Pastoe welke uitschuifbaar is tot 6/8 personen uit de jaren 1970. Het tafelblad bestaat uit een dik houten blad afgewerkt met een witte Formica in sinasappel relief en staat op chromen poot met zwarte gietijzeren stervoet. De tafel is geproduceerd door Pastoe (niet gemerkt) en van eerste eigenaar.
Conditie: goede vintage conditie. Het Formica blad heeft aan de randen een paar zeer kleine beschadigingen. Op het blad zelf zit een klein (gerepareerd) putje. Het laminaat ter plaatse van de middennaad lijkt los te zitten, maar dit is niet het geval. Er is geen beschadiging waar te nemen, alleen visueel een afwijking. Lichte krassen op de zwarte stervoet.
Afmetingen: diameter 120cm, lengte uitgeschoven 168 cm, hoog 71,5 cm.

Beautiful round dining table from Pastoe which is extendable to 6/8 people from the 1970s. The table top consists of a thick wooden top finished with a white Formica in orange relief and stands on a chrome leg with black cast iron star foot. The table is produced by Pastoe (not marked) and from the first owner. Good vintage condition. The Formica top has a few very minor damages on the edges. There is a small (repaired) pit on the blade itself. The laminate at the center seam appears to be loose, but this is not the case. There is no visible damage, only a visual deviation. Light scratches on the black star base.

Special Dutch lounge armchair designed by John de Haard and produced by the Gebroeders Jonkers Noordwolde, 1960s. The unique armchair has a pine wooden frame with a canvas seat hanging in it. The “sling” armrests are made of the same brown canvas. The seat is held in place by metal pins in the woodwork and turning buttons on the underside. The “safari chair” was an important inspiration for the design of the lounge armchair. The armchair is included in the extensive chair collection of the TU Delft.
