Modern safari club armchairs, designed by Maurice Burke and produced in Brazil by Pozza, 1970s. Sling armchair with a Brazilian hardwood frame (pau ferro or walnut) and brown leather seat and armrests.

These easy armchairs predate the classic Arkana ‘Chelsea Chair’ which was only available in skai leather. In the late 1960s, Pozza of Brazil manufactured Burke’s ‘Alpha’ chair in leather with rounded corners. The seat of the armchair is adjustable by sliding it over the frame, in this way you create a straighter or lazier seat. The armchairs are marked. Good to very good vintage condition. Signs of use according to age. The brown color is never the same due to natural and artificial light, please take this into account when purchasing
