Vintage rattan armchair by Rohe Noordwolde Groningen, Netherlands 1960s / Originele rotan fauteuil geproduceerd door Rohe Noordwolde Groningen, 1960s. Leuke bescheiden fauteuil met gebogen rotan poten en dikke rotan zitting en rugleuning. De fauteuil is gemerkt met sticker.
Conditie: goede vintage conditie. Aan de voorzijde en de bovenzijde missen enkele rotan wikkels. De zitting van de stoel heeft een lichte scheefstand, niet storend voor zit e.d.
Afmetingen: breed 61 cm, diep 65 cm, hoogte 78 cm, zithoogte 29-34 cm

Original rattan armchair produced by Rohe Noordwolde Groningen, 1960s. Nice modest armchair with curved rattan legs and thick rattan seat and back. The armchair is marked with a sticker. Good vintage condition. Some rattan wrappers are missing on the front and top. The seat of the chair has a slight skew, which is not disturbing for the seat, etc.

Four-door wall cabinet by Ibsico, Italy, 1970s. The heavy cupboard has a beautiful finish with beech veneer. Beautiful classic lines of vertical and horizontal wood structure. The four doors hang on beautiful copper or brass hinges. The doors are perfectly adjustable. The quality is reflected in the entire detailing, with for example a groove in the shelf that slides over the shelf supports. Special understated Italian cabinet with Scandinavian allure. The style of the design is somewhat reminiscent of the style of Derk-Jan de Vries, only a bit more favourably priced.
The cabinet, together with the display cabinet, is part of a fraternal twins.

The minimalist industrial brushed steel tube frame forms a beautiful contrast with the craftsmanship of woven white artificial cane (wicker).
Martin Visser (1922-2009) is one of the most famous Dutch furniture designers. From 1954 he became head designer at Spectrum (1941 Bergeyk). Visser makes sleek designs with a functional approach. His designs have long been defining for the Spectrum collection. In December 1998 Martin Visser’s career was rewarded with the oeuvre prize for design.
