Mid-century rattan armchairs, 1960s / originele rotan fauteuil uit de jaren 1960. Gebogen rotan poten met een fijnere structuur rotan als zit- en rug element. Stoel is niet gemerkt, maar is wellicht van Rohe Noordwolde.
Fijne stoel voor in de serre, terras of strandtent.
Conditie: redelijk tot goede conditie. Er ontbreken een paar kleine wikkels (zie foto’s). Voor de stevigheid en stabiliteit niet van invloed. Enkele rotan wikkels zijn vastgezet met kleine spijkertjes.
Afmetingen: breed 62 cm, diep 72 cm, hoog 84,5 cm, zithoogte 27 cm.

Original rattan armchair from the 1960s. Curved rattan legs with a finer structure rattan as seat and back element. Chair is not marked, but may be from Rohe Noordwolde. Nice chair for the conservatory, terrace or beach tent. Fair to good condition. Some small wrappers are missing (see photos). Does not affect the strength and stability. Some rattan wraps are secured with small nails.

Martin Visser (1922-2009) is one of the most famous Dutch furniture designers. From 1954 he became head designer at Spectrum (1941 Bergeyk). Visser makes sleek designs with a functional approach. His designs have long been defining for the Spectrum collection. In December 1998 Martin Visser’s career was rewarded with the oeuvre prize for design.
