Rare mid-century oak easy lounge chairs by Bernt Petersen for Schiang Furniture, Denmark 1960s / bijzondere eikenhouten lounge fauteuils ontworpen door de Deen Bernt Petersen en geproduceerd door Schiang Furniture, 1960s.
De fauteuils hebben een eikenhouten frame waartussen een canvas zitting hangt. Op de canvas zitting liggen twee gecapitonneerde bruin wollen kussens. Mooi detail met de leren “knopen”. De fauteuils zijn demontabel.
Conditie: goede tot zeer goede vintage conditie. Geringe gebruikssporen op het frame, een en ander overeenkomstig de leeftijd. Het canvas is netjes, maar heeft aan de binnenzijde een lichte verkleuring en watervlek. Dit is door de kussens niet zichtbaar. De vulling van de kussens is goed, net als de originele wollen stof.

The armchairs have an oak frame with a canvas seat in between. There are two padded brown woolen cushions on the canvas seat. Nice detail with the leather “buttons”. The armchairs are dismountable. Good to very good vintage condition. Minor signs of wear on the frame, in accordance with the age. The canvas is neat, but has a slight discoloration and water stain on the inside. This is not visible through the cushions. The filling of the cushions is good, as is the original woolen fabric.

Four-door wall cabinet by Ibsico, Italy, 1970s. The heavy cupboard has a beautiful finish with beech veneer. Beautiful classic lines of vertical and horizontal wood structure. The four doors hang on beautiful copper or brass hinges. The doors are perfectly adjustable. The quality is reflected in the entire detailing, with for example a groove in the shelf that slides over the shelf supports. Special understated Italian cabinet with Scandinavian allure. The style of the design is somewhat reminiscent of the style of Derk-Jan de Vries, only a bit more favourably priced.
The cabinet, together with the display cabinet, is part of a fraternal twins.
