Mid century Royal System wall unit / shelving system designed by Poul Cadovius, Danish 1960s / Groot “Royal System” wandsysteem ontworpen door Poul Cadovius, Denemarken 1960s. Het wandelement bestaat uit 4 zwart gebeitste wandlatten waar drie vakken mee te maken zijn. De planken met twee verschillende dieptes zijn afgwerkt met een Palissander fineer. De wandkast is door het modulaire systeem naar eigen inzicht in te delen.
Conditie: goede vintage conditie. De latten hebben wat gebruikssporen door de wandmontage. De planken zijn netjes en onbeschadigd. Lichte gebruikspsoren zijn hier en daar zichtbaar (lichte krasjes). Op de twee brede planken zitten een paar diepere krassen (zie ook de foto’s voor een totaalbeeld).

Large “Royal System” wall system designed by Poul Cadovius, Denmark 1960s. The wall element consists of 4 black-stained wall slats with which three compartments can be made. The planks with two different depths are finished with a rosewood veneer. The wall cabinet can be arranged according to your own insight thanks to the modular system. Good vintage condition. The slats have some signs of wear due to the wall mounting. The shelves are neat and undamaged. Light signs of use are visible here and there (light scratches). There are a few deeper scratches on the two wide planks (see also the photos for a complete picture).

Beautiful craftsmanship with elegantly shaped components and solid mortise and tenon joints. Early edition and original marked mid-century set. Timeless sideboard finished with Rio rosewood veneer, designed by visionary Leo Bub in the 1960s. German craftsmanship manufactured by BUB Wertmobel Germany. This mid-century sideboard has an enchanting appearance due to the unique finish of the door panels. The doors are crafted from strips of rosewood veneer woven in a basket weave pattern. The woven panels add a beautiful organic texture and a timeless, casual elegance to the piece. The interior finish of the sideboard, with beech veneer and green felt, creates a beautiful contrast with the dark exterior. A rare and beautiful sideboard with an eye for detail and carefully selected materials. The sideboard is marked with the original sales sticker.
Condition: good to very good vintage condition. The sideboard has a beautiful appearance with a small repair to the veneer on the edge of the upper right corner. Minor discoloration and signs of wear on the top.
