Classic industrial schoolchair, s16 made by Galvanitas Oosterhout, 1960s Netherlands / klassieke schoolstoel ontworpen in de jaren zestig door Galvanitas in Oosterhout. De schoolstoel s16 met de kenmerkende geperste zwarte stalen passerpoten en degelijke “dark ebony” zitting en rugleuning (tegenwoordig geproduceerd in Duitsland) past goed in een “urban industrial” interieur. Deze stoelen zijn een latere productie ‘90s of ‘00s. Meerdere exemplaren op voorraad.
Conditie: goed tot zeer goede vintage conditie. minimale gebruikssporen op het frame en randen van de zitting en rugleuning.
Afmetingen: breed 42,5 cm, diep 51,5 cm, hoogte 81 cm, zithoogte 45,5 cm.

classic school chair designed in the sixties by Galvanitas in Oosterhout. The school chair s16 with the characteristic pressed black steel compass legs and solid “dark ebony” seat and backrest (nowadays produced in Germany) fits well in an “urban industrial” interior. These chairs are a later production ’90s or ’00s. Multiple copies in stock. Good to very good vintage condition. minimal traces of use on the frame and edges of the seat and backrest.

Special Dutch lounge armchair designed by John de Haard and produced by the Gebroeders Jonkers Noordwolde, 1960s. The unique armchair has a pine wooden frame with a canvas seat hanging in it. The “sling” armrests are made of the same brown canvas. The seat is held in place by metal pins in the woodwork and turning buttons on the underside. The “safari chair” was an important inspiration for the design of the lounge armchair. The armchair is included in the extensive chair collection of the TU Delft.
