Vintage modern design chairs by Gerard Vollenbrock for Gelderland, 1970s / Design fauteuils ontworpen door Gerard Vollenbrock voor Gelderland, Nederland 1970s. De elegante moderne fauteuil heeft grote gelijkenissen met model 4735, maar is een stukje kleiner. Tussen het chromen frame is een tuig leren zitting gespannen. De armleuningen zijn van zwart gebeitst hout.
Conditie: goede vintage conditie. Het tuigleer is netjes en heeft enkele gebruikssporen. Chromen frame is in goede staat. Bij een aantal verbindingen ligt de inbusbout wat dieper in het frame in verband met het ontbreken van een bus / afstandshouder (constructief geen invloed)
Afmetingen: breed 70 cm, diep 68 cm, hoog 72 cm, zithoogte 30-36 cm

Design armchairs designed by Gerard Vollenbrock for Gelderland, the Netherlands 1970s. The elegant modern armchair is very similar to model 4735, but is a bit smaller. A saddle leather seat is stretched between the chrome frame. The armrests are made of black stained wood. Good vintage condition. The saddle leather is neat and has some traces of use. Chrome frame is in good condition. With a number of connections, the Allen bolt is a bit deeper in the frame due to the lack of a bush / spacer (no structural influence)

Special Dutch lounge armchair designed by John de Haard and produced by the Gebroeders Jonkers Noordwolde, 1960s. The unique armchair has a pine wooden frame with a canvas seat hanging in it. The “sling” armrests are made of the same brown canvas. The seat is held in place by metal pins in the woodwork and turning buttons on the underside. The “safari chair” was an important inspiration for the design of the lounge armchair. The armchair is included in the extensive chair collection of the TU Delft.
