Vintage extendable wenge diningtable 6-8 persons, Japanese serie, by Cees Braakman for Pastoe 1970s / 6-8 persoons design eettafel uit de Japanse serie, ontworpen door Cees Braakman voor Pastoe in de jaren 1970. Massief Wengé poten en blad van wit Formica fineer. De tafel is uitschuifbaar tot 8 personen (220 cm). Mooie set met de bijpassende Wenge eettafel stoelen.
Conditie: goede vintage conditie. Het Formica is zeer netjes, met een kleine beschadiging (zie foto). Het houtwerk heeft gebruikssporen conform de leeftijd.
Afmetingen: breed 175 cm (220 cm verlengd), diep 86,5 cm (blad 80 cm), hoogte 73,5 cm.

Vintage 6-8 seater dining table from the Japanese series, designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe in the 1970s. Solid Wenge legs and top of white Formica veneer. The table is extendable up to 8 people (220 cm). Beautiful set with the matching Wenge dining table chairs. Good vintage condition. The Formica is very neat, with minor damage (see photo). The woodwork has signs of wear in accordance with its age.
Vintage leather easy chair, model 103, designed by Illum Wikkelsø (1919-1999) and produced by A/S Mikael Laursen, Denmark 1960s.
Illum Wikkelsø (1919-1999) trained as a carpenter and later studied at the School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen. He first worked for the Danish cabinetmaker Jacob Kjær and the architects Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard until 1954, when he opened his studio on the outskirts of Aarhus. Here he designed exceptionally simple and elegant seating furniture with great functionality, which are now considered classics of Danish furniture design. The style of his work ranges from the classicism of Kaare Klint to the soft organic craftsmanship of Arne Jacobsen.
Set of 6 vintage oak dining chairs designed by Gerard Geytenbeek for AZS, Netherlands 1960s. The modern minimalist solid oak wooden chairs have a woven seat of wicker. Beautiful drawing of the wood on the backrests. Chairs in a crossover style with a modern design and a traditional use of materials.
