Round extendable dining table made by Pastoe in the 1970s, Netherlands / Mooie ronde eettafel van Pastoe welke uitschuifbaar is tot 6/8 personen uit de jaren 1970. Het tafelblad bestaat uit een dik houten blad afgewerkt met een witte Formica in sinasappel relief en staat op chromen poot met zwarte gietijzeren stervoet. De tafel is geproduceerd door Pastoe (niet gemerkt) en van eerste eigenaar.Conditie: goede vintage conditie. Het Formica blad heeft aan de randen een paar zeer kleine beschadigingen. Op het blad zelf zit een klein (gerepareerd) putje. Het laminaat ter plaatse van de middennaad lijkt los te zitten, maar dit is niet het geval. Er is geen beschadiging waar te nemen, alleen visueel een afwijking. Lichte krassen op de zwarte stervoet.Afmetingen: diameter 120cm, lengte uitgeschoven 168 cm, hoog 71,5 cm.Code: T2205Beautiful round dining table from Pastoe which is extendable to 6/8 people from the 1970s. The table top consists of a thick wooden top finished with a white Formica in orange relief and stands on a chrome leg with black cast iron star foot. The table is produced by Pastoe (not marked) and from the first owner. Good vintage condition. The Formica top has a few very minor damages on the edges. There is a small (repaired) pit on the blade itself. The laminate at the center seam appears to be loose, but this is not the case. There is no visible damage, only a visual deviation. This majestic Brutalist-style table has a curved oak frame and stands on four beautifully shaped legs. The tabletop is inlaid with handmade ceramic tiles in a colorful, geometric pattern, resulting in a beautiful, organic aesthetic. Beautiful Danish craftsmanship, marked with a sticker and from first owner.
Tue Poulsen (1939–2026) was a prominent Danish ceramicist and designer, widely recognized for his brutalist stoneware and mid-century modern furniture. Over a career spanning more than 60 years, he blended organic textures with architectural forms, becoming a staple of Danish design history.
