Siësta lounge chair by Ingmar Relling for Westnofa, 1970s Norway / Comfortabele Siësta easy chair ontworpen door de Noor Ingmar Relling voor Westnofa / Vestlandske, 1970s.
Blank houten gebogen beukenframe met opgespannen canvas zitting en gecapitonneerd creme kleurig leren (hoofd)kussen. Het ontwerp van de Scandinavische designklassieker is uit 1970 Noorwegen.
Conditie: Redelijk tot goede vintage conditie. Lichte gebruikssporen op het houten frame. Kussens zijn goed, het leer is verkleurd (zichtbaar op enkele foto’s). Het leer van het zitgedeelte is wat vlekkerig (wel gereinigd). Het canvas is netjes, maar wel met een lichte beschadiging aan rand voorzijde.
Afmetingen: breed 66 cm, diep 85 cm, hoog 97 cm, zithoogte ca 41-48 cm.

Blank wooden curved beech frame with stretched canvas seat and padded cream colored leather (head) cushion. The leather of the seating area is somewhat stained (but has been cleaned). The design of the Scandinavian design classic is from 1970 Norway. Fair to good vintage condition. Light signs of use on the wooden frame. Cushions are good, the leather is discolored (visible in some photos). The canvas is neat, but with a slight damage to the edge of the front. Please note that the color on the screen may differ in real life.

Special Dutch lounge armchair designed by John de Haard and produced by the Gebroeders Jonkers Noordwolde, 1960s. The unique armchair has a pine wooden frame with a canvas seat hanging in it. The “sling” armrests are made of the same brown canvas. The seat is held in place by metal pins in the woodwork and turning buttons on the underside. The “safari chair” was an important inspiration for the design of the lounge armchair. The armchair is included in the extensive chair collection of the TU Delft.
